At Formecology, LLC we strive to create
landscapes that increase ecological health
and well-being. Sustainable systems are
the elements like rain gardens and solar
panels that contribute to this green
aspect of our work. These tools and elements
provide such functions as: capturing
and infiltrating stormwater, protecting
soil, reducing pollution, and so on.
Sustainable systems we commonly use are
rainwater harvesting systems, recycled
material systems, and porous paving
systems. Whether we are reducing the
effects of stormwater on a small urban
site or creating a management plan for
a native wildflower and grass planting, we
utilize these systems in concert with
proven design principles in each of our
landscapes.
